Nick Swift
I have worked in business development and sales since 1994, bringing over 30 years of experience in securing business and sales for both major prime contractors and innovative SMEs. My career includes senior roles with organisations such as BAE Systems and Ultra Electronics, as well as high-growth and specialist companies including Sonardyne, Wavefront and Seakit.
I have successfully developed and won business internationally, with particular experience in India, the Middle East and across Europe, operating within the defence and offshore sectors. I enjoy working across different cultures and markets, building long-term partnerships and delivering new sales and projects.
Since establishing Forum Technologies Limited in 2019, I have provided consultancy and business development services to companies resulting in sales in new markets and converting strategic opportunities into tangible results.
More recently, Jane (my business partner and wife) and I have launched a new venture focused on coaching, training and consultancy services designed to help companies increase business. Drawing on over three decades of hands-on experience, I work with sales professionals, leadership teams and organisations to strengthen capability, refine strategy and implement effective business development and sales processes that drive measurable success.
Jane Swift
I have over 30 years' experience working in-house as a patent attorney in the chemical and agrochemical industries.
For the last 10 years I held management roles, most recently managing the global IP function of a FTSE 250 company. During that time, I was introduced to the benefits of coaching, first as a coachee and then being fortunate to join a 6 month experiential course teaching the fundamentals of coaching and coaching tools and skills and putting what we learned into practice in a safe environment. Since completion of the course, I have coached (formally and informally) a number of former colleagues and peers.
I am currently undertaking the Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching from Henley Business School (in conjunction with the University of Reading) to further enhance my coaching skills and experience.
